I've been building online businesses since 2007. The first ones failed: a computer shop, then a graphic t-shirt store that never found its buyers. Then Mujo, a directory of online stores that grew into a content site, until I closed it to focus on what finally worked.
What worked was Simplenet. It started in 2012 as a simple way for local Romanian businesses to get online and grew into managed WordPress hosting. Later we launched Kiravo for companies that need their sites to stay fast and stable when traffic spikes. It's the same problem I've been chasing since those first shops buckled under load.
These days you'll also find me at WordCamps, publishing free themes like Simplenet, or contributing translations. WordPress is still the thread.
